I met up with infyza today in Amarr. He is an industrialist who dabbles in trade and exploration.
He took my Rapier from me to do some much needed repairs and cleaning. I swear some one took a shit in my cockpit...
He lent me his Rupture so I can continue doing some business while his guys work on my ship. The rupture is a pretty awesome ship. No wonder infyza has so much cash... the ship is entirely T1 fit. Ah well, good enough for what I need it to do I guess. I best just avoid trouble.

Awakening
I'm at home on Alikara IV, standing on the porch watching my younger brothers race their toy hover crafts around the temporary track they have erected out of sticks fallen from the shedding tree's nearby.
The ice that had formed on my skin is now melting from the warm sun. I was worried there for a moment. Everything was dark, cold and wet. So cold that I thought it was to be my end.
The sun is getting warmer. Strangely warm. I shout at my brothers "Best come inside to grab some block. The suns really hammering down today!". My brothers slow down, get out of their crafts and start walking my way.
A massive blast is heard above, followed by a second and a third. We see a two kestrels zoom past. I yell at my brothers, instructing them to get mom and head down into the blast room belong the house. They are still far away, running at, what looks like slow motion. Whats going on?
Behind them I see missiles falling to the planet. We are being bombarded!
Everything is so bright. The fires are approaching and my brothers are still running. I can hardly see them through the glare.
I gasp and the world goes red. I feel the metal bars along the side of my body, holding me erect in the stasis chamber.
It was only a dream, I realise. I haven't seen my family in over a decade, so it was at least good to see their faces again, even if only in a dream.
A bright light is warming my skin, defrosting the frozen parts of my body. I dread the pain I will feel in the next 23 hours as my body stretches, expands and defrosts. I hate this, but at least its warm.
I check the log, noticing that I've been awoken six months early.
Fuck! That means we have probably been intercepted by the Navy. Probably a standard check, but if they find me I'll be reprocessed for missing the call to arms. Yup, definitely the Navy, but why in a 0.4 system? This is anything but normal. They are looking for someone important... but not me. Like it matters anyway. If they find me I'm dead. Our mother ship could easily destroy all of them, but our captain has nothing to gain from that.
I run to the dock. There she is - my Cerberus class ship - clean as ever. Too bad she never saw battle. I've lost numerous of her kind in the past, and would very likely have lost her as well had the NC not withdrawn. As much as I would love to take her for one last spin, it would be suicide against the Navy. It would be torn apart as it undocks. I have to find something else. I scan through my ships, looking for something that stands the slightest chance. Found it! A Rapier, force recon type. Hmmf, not much DPS, not much tank, but she had a cloak, and thats the only thing I need right now.
I instruct my crew to move ships and begin launch procedures. I bribe the floor technician with all I have. He will make sure those blast doors dont open without a fight.
Thirty percent up, but by now they know there is a launch in progress. The Navy are already trying to get the door open. Come on! I dont have time.
99...100%... "lets go! I shout". The docking doors open, I engage the cloak and we are off. Right as we exit the hangar I do a straight dive downwards to avoid any frigates who might disturb the cloak. If the device fails, we are doomed.
They are still waiting for me to leave the hangar! I said hysterically. They were such fools to think someone from the NC would be stupid enough to attempt an escape without a cloaky.
This ship, the FCR Pretoria... is dusty! I'll need to get her cleaned up once we dock at the new base. I haven't ever flown her and for good reason. She is a Minmatar ship, and that means it is probably falling apart. So far so good though. I'll make sure to hire some Minmatar crew soon to keep this piece of junk floating.
What are those sails for anyway?!
